In 2021, we celebrated our 100th birthday!

We opened in January 1921 and have seen thousands of Birkenhead children and families come through our gates.

If you remember, the UK was still under Covid restrictions for some of this time, so we weren't able to celebrate as we could, but we did get to create this 100th Birthday Flyover to recognise it with the whole school taking part across three of our yards.

The Bidston Avenue building was actually built for 1914, but war broke out, so it didn't open until seven years later.  The building was used for soldier convalescence as they returned from The Great War.
